The best deal in town for wine lovers: EVERY Monday and Thursday you have a chance to taste from 20 diverse wines in a wide variety of styles for just $20 (exclusive of tax and tip) in our Bar. We will offer different choices every week so you can survey the multitude of new releases and old reliables we offer. Champagne & Bacon Fest,

second weekend each month!

Come experience the mystical bond between top shelf sparkling wine and the glorious meat candy known as artisanal Bacon. We’ll be grillin’ up five diverse examples of the meat curing arts which will be served with generous pours of five quite diverse examples of fine fizz from La Champagne and the Italian Alps. Economy version of  Bordeaux Blanc: waxy / paraffin notes on the nose, VERY dry finish.


B) Caleo Inzolia 2011, Sicilia Italy  $6 glass

100% Inzolia with lots of flavor and body, no oak…perfect for Cali Cuisine.


C) Cavalchina Custoza Bianco 2009, Veneto  $6 glass

Garganega, the Soave grape (40%) bumped up w/ Fernanda, Trebbiano & aromatic Friulano.

A) Marina Alta Blanco Gran Selección 2012, Alicante Spain  $8 glass

100% Muscat of Alexandria fermented in stainless steel for maximum freshness and verve.


B) Venosa Dry Muscat Terre di Orazio 2012, Basilicata Italy  $9 glass

Very floral yet bone dry, perfect with Asian or Caribbean seafood or just as a nice tipple…


C) Martellozzo Malvasia della Venezia Terre Magre 2011, Italy  $7 glass

Fantastically perfumed yet bone dry, perfect for Asian, Latin or other highly seasoned fare.

A) Nonno Giuseppe Zinfandel 2002, Redwood Valley California $5 glass

Vines planted in 1906, the wine was aged for ten years….it’s ready for its closeup!


B) Picco del Sole Cannonau di Sardegna 2009, Italy  $7 glass

Cannonau is Sardo dialect for Grenache / Garnacha. Medium bodied, zesty, fun.


C) Charlie’s Blend 2008, South Australia  $5 glass

85% Shiraz / 15% Cab with abundant fruit and a bit of attitude.


4) “Country Wines” in the Big City  $24 per flight 


A) Rive della Chiesa Rosso della Riva 2005, Veneto Italy $9 glass

This 60 / 40 Cabernet / Merlot blend leans more towards herbal Loire styles than Bordeaux.


B) Carroi Portier Chinon Cuvée des Folies 2003, Loire France  $10 glass

Old vine Cabernet Franc from a very ripe vintage vinified in steel for freshness and verve.


C) Montalbera Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato ‘06, Piemonte Italy  $9 gl

100% Ruchè, a wildly aromatic grape native to a small zona in Piemonte.


5) Toscana! $36 flight


A) Tiberini Rosso di Montepulciano 2010, Toscana Italy  $11 glass

Mostly Sangiovese with a kiss of aromatic Mammolo that lends a violet note to the nose.


B) Campofiorito Brunello di Montalcino 2008, Toscana Italy  $20 glass

100% Sangiovese Grosso from the classic zona, vinified in large oak. Very elegant.


C) Tassi Toscana Rosso Aqua Bona 2005, Italy  $20 glass

50 / 50 blend of Cabernet / Petite Verdot aged in large oak, puts the “super” in Super Tuscan.
